If you are showing(?) then surely you have enough contact with other akita exhibitors to know about the stud dogs available in your breed?

You would be best to travel to the most experienced breeder/showperson in order to have the use of a really good stud for your bitch. Try Dave Killilea from Redwitch Kennels they are always helpful & i think personally do tend to have the best dogs in the UK as regards to temperament & quality.

I should have thought your first port of call would have been to the breeder of your bitch,she/he will know which lines suit your bitch the best.
