Another non-dog topic, I'm trying to find A4 paper with perforations so I can print tickets for my choir concerts and then split them up without having to guillotine them by hand. I've found nice quality paper - coloured, marbled effect, decent thickness etc. And I've found white paper with perforations as for business cards. But I can't seem to find any that are pretty colours or effects to make the tickets look more interesting, but already perforated. Thought I'd ask on here before giving up, white tickets are fine after all, just a little boring perhaps.

Can you not print your own pretty background at the same time as you print the tickets

Have you thought of using a perforating tool?  That way you can use any nice paper you have or can find, ebay have a few but you can buy them in craft shops.

I'd have to use our own ink at home instead of the office ink lol, we only have black & white printing here. :-)

The perforating tool looks interesting though I'm not a crafty person and would probably mess it up while getting the hang of it.

Thanks for the link, will investigate!

I can't help with where to buy perforated paper from, but I imagine that you might be able to get tickets printed at a lower cost than buying the paper & printing them yourself, especially if you're using an inkjet printer.

I've used Jamjar print in the past for getting event tickets printed, and they're pretty reasonable, as are Leafletfrog who I've used recently for some leaflet printing and was very impressed by the turnaround time - I ordered online on a Sunday night, and had 5,000 leaflets by 9am Weds morning!

Thanks! Professional places aren't usually cheaper in the quantities we need, we're only a small choir so only tend to need about 250 tickets for a concert. :-)

For professional printing its worth a call to
Realise Futures, 01284 764355.
they are on Morton Hall, and provide work for people with mental handicaps (County Council offshoot.)
They do the printing for our village mag - 1200 copies, and the cinema group - 20 posters. so smaller quantities are no problem.
