I picked up a 'stray' on 6/2/03. It is a black / white rough-coated lurcher cross - possibly with a whippet / Bedlington but also has a little beard. He appears to have been on the road a while as he was filthy and v hungry. I read on this site that lurcher breeds can travel long distances, and as no one had reported him lost locally, then thought I may try here. He's responded well in the time with me, but he's now feeling a bit better and trying to assert himself with my other 13-year old dog . He's a lovely affectionate boy but I'm now going to have to kennel him with a rescue that does not have a destroy policy.Does anyone think they know anything about him? If so - then please please respond. thanks
