What are the best things to delete that are large to make more space on icoud? i have done photos and some documents on iPad and iMac but i still get emails saying iCloud nearly full, 4.8 used and I've only 5gb
is buying more the best option.
today also texts coming up with not peoples names but their numbers instead so I am having to re add them to contacts!

I found videos were the big problem with storage but we have also gone to 20 fb storage space as well

5 GB isn't very much. I just checked how many photos I have saved on my computer, nothing else only photos, and that came to 29.5 GB.

Yeah, videos take up a lot of space. As for pictures, you can upload up to a terabyte on Flickr I think.

I think the cost of extra storage recently came down a bit, or perhaps it was a special offer, I was nearly at my limit and just increased my storage.
