I am 12 years old and i already have a dog but when i leave home i am planning to get an Alaskan Malamute and i want to know roughly the cost of an Alaskan Malamute in 7 years time ?

It is very hard to say what the price WILL be in the future , it depends on a lot of things ..I can tell you that you can pay about £800-£1,000 for a Malamute now! It depends who you buy from , what the breeding is like , what papers/innoculations etc etc the pup has when you pick him/her up.

Good for you to do some planning for the future. Please do all the research you can and even meet some breeders and their dogs as I am sure they wouldn't mind helping you with information.

It makes a refreshing change for someone as young as you to take an adult approach to careful dog ownership, perhaps some adults could take a leaf out of your book and there wouldn't be as many dogs in rescue centres as there are today. Some people only buy a dog as a status symbol and easily tire of it.
