Hi everyone, ive just bought my dogs some spratts for a change, but neither they or the cats are bothered,I thought the cats at least would love them!Any idea how I could make them more appetising, please?

Warm them up a bit that might help. I have to warn you though that raw fish can often cause problems in that mine have been known to eat it then sick it up then eat it you get the picture. I tend to go with tinned fish now which seems to stay where it should :D

You could always try throwing them to the dogs for them to catch - they tend to gulp them down then. My newest rescue dog wasn't sure what to do with them when they were put in his bowl but throwing them to him a few times worked and now he eats them straight from his bowl.

My GR took his first raw fish up the garden and rolled on it before realising he could eat it. The bringing it back up again is not uncommon but mine just view it as a second meal and devour it again.

If you are going to warm them up make sure you don't cook them for too long as cooked fish bones are very sharp.

I found a fish washed up on the beach about the size of a sprat, so could of been, very pristine, not old looking. Gave it to my GR, gone in a gulp.

Try feeding frozen! Mine would only eat them frozen to begin with, but will now gulp them down fresh like seals, they love them :)

I give them to mien as frozen treats, and never had any bother.

mine arnt keen on whole raw fish but will eat minced prize choice type things. Brooke will eat it if cut up and served as surf and turf , whispa just gives me funny look and ignores it as does Mia. They all love sardines on oil on tomato sauce. I don't give them often as a bit worried about salt content
