My bitch (large gundog) is possibly, I say possibly as I'm not entirely sure in season, she has a swollen vulva, but her discharge is a very light pink. Her seasons before have been text book I'd say, although she's never bled a lot. This time the discharge is very much usual for her just the colour isn't what I'd expect for a season. If that makes sense! She's day 3 of this.
Can a bitch have very light discharge for a season? I googled it and some suggest a colourless season as it isn't full red in colour.
Any experience or advice would be appreciated.

Mine are usually Pink to start getting bright red from about a week onward (I never get the fabled straw colour at standing time), and then gradually peter  off at 21+ days.
