Is there any other company that Insures dogs for life for any condition for an indefinite number of years, besides Pet Plan. They are quite expensive.

Kennel Club/Agria.  Will also be expensive.

Animal friends do lifetime ones

If you use compare the market site you can chose to only see life time policies.

Go with Petplan.  Yes, they are expensive to start with but the premium tends not to jump each year like a lot of companies and the excess is decent.

Animal Friends are the same BUT they are sods for putting generalised exclusions on policies and take it from me, when the dog reaches 8yrs old and you get hit with the 35% additional excess, it hurts!  If you've got a dog that ends up with an expensive chronic condition but goes on into its teens, that's years of a lot of expense.

Also AF are technically maximum benefit policies, not lifetime - e.g. some of mine are on the superior cover, so they have £2k per condition per year, up to a maximum of £20k per condition, whereas one of the lifetime poicies from Petplan is however much per year for life, it renews each year and it doesn't run out.

When my current AF dogs pass on I won't be going with them again, that excess is just too much.

Not according to there site and policy documents, the Superior and prestige ones all have an unlimited lifetime condition limit. I'm currently on the superior pluss so get £4000 per condition each year for as long as have the policy.

The funny thing with mine is I made a claim in the first year so expected the next year's one to be high but it stayed the same price, then I didn't make any claims that second year and it went up!

Pet Plan every time, they never let you down. Premiums are slightly more but they have no hidden catches and pay out with no quibbles

So they do, my mistake - but that was certainly not always the case, they've changed it sometime in the last couple of years.  Remy's was the last policy I took out before Saffi's in July, and his had the £20k limit on the Superior.  Hadn't even noticed it had changed!

Yes I suspect they have changed a few things as im sure when I took out my policy it said I got 6000 but now it says 4000, I couldn't decide between the two and decided to with the higher one just incase then drop it later if not claimed. i never read the news emails they send and cant find the first policy email they sent so cant check if its changed but im sure it was more than 4000 when i took it out.
