Yes, I just watched it last night.
The chap who was murdered had charged out of the carriage to warn the girl with Wickham's baby about something ( what I'm not quite sure, it may have been Wickham's true identity ). He arrived at her cottage and her brother ( the sick one ) thinking it was the soldier who had got her up the duff, opened the door and clobbered him one, he staggered away into the wood, with the brother in hot pursuit.
He was heading towards a dangerous drop ( where Darcy's grandad was buried ), the sick brother tried to warn him, but too late, he fell over the drop, cracking his head on the grave stone.
That's when Wickham found him, saw the other guy, and fired a shot at him, he then tried to get his friend back up to the road when he was found by the others.
All ths was related to Elizabeth and the vicar on the brothers death bed, and Wickham was due to hang at dawn !.
Mad dash to the judges house with signed confession, and another mad dash to the gallows in the nick of time to save him.
Wickham and Lydia then swan off to America to a new life, and Elizabeth reveals to Darcy, she's preggers.
Personaly, I think they should have let him hang, annoying prat that he is.
Oh, and that Captain who was sniffing after Georgiana, was given the boot when Darcy realised he was a tosser after all, and she gets it on with the nice lawyer chap.
