I have got a tiny tiny splinter in the tip of my little finger that is painful every time I touch or pick things up. I have tried twizzers and a pin but just can't get it out! Any ideas of stuff I could put on to draw it out???

I use a needle and basically dig deep to get them out, painful but has always worked for me
If you have some magnesium sulfate paste, pop a small amount where the splinter is, cover with a light bandage and check in 24 hours. By this time the splinter should have lifted for easy removal, if not reapply and leave for a further 24 hours.
Or if you don't have any magnesium sulphate paste:
Make a paste using Epsom salts and follow the same routine
Or:
Soak your little finger 5-6 times per day in a solution of warm water and Epsom salts and after a couple of days the splinter will lift to enable easy removal.
Thank you but don't have Epsom salts or magnesium sulphate😩
Might have to dig deep with needle but it HURTS.

Hold your finger in water as hot as you can bear (with some ordinary salt dissolved in if you like) for a few minutes to help draw out the splinter.
I'd usually go for soaking in hot salt water for a while then sucking on it really hard!! rinse and repeat........ in between whiles i'd apply some antiseptic and a plaster to protect it.

I'm inclined to agree with Sue. Just bite the bullet and dig deep. Once you have it out the relief will be fantastic.
Magnesium Sulphate..... You can buy it from the chemist.....it's great for drawing nasties out including splinters.
My Dr told me to get some years ago for a quick that had pulled out on my finger it was red, festering and throbbing.....it worked wonders.....gone in a couple of days.
I will try soaking it but if no joy then will pop down the chemist today and buy some magnesium sulphate.
I can feel the tip of the splinter and can see it through a magnifying class.
No I idea how I even got it!

Do you know any diabetics? Ask for a lancet or an insulin needle. They have slimmer, sharper points and lightly scratching the surface will split it in to a type of trench while causing less pain. I usually find it easier to dig from the side of entry point, rather than over the top. The slant at the point will, also help to hook it out.
If all else fails, pop round. I'll do it after offering a stiff drink or hot sweet tea! ;)

I see the plan now. The hot sweet tea is for Lorripop and the stiff drink is for you. :-)
