I have finaly plucked up the courage to come and tell you about this senario !

This persons dog has gone missing and my heart aches for them but as a direct result of this persons advertising in our local papers my poor little dog has been killed by a car :(

What happened you may ask ...well

The tuesday following the dissapearance of this persons dog , we went to addend my grandfathers funeral and as usual we pooped our dog (a 10month old rough collie matching the description because he is obviously small as only a puppy) outside in his favorite place ...one of the out door stables. For his security he was on one of those recoil ties that goes onto another length of arial cable (used for aircrafts) so he can freely runn around the stable without the fear of getting tangled up. He did love his fun time in there and he only ever was put out there for 5 hours max and probably only once a week. well anyway on returning home from the funeral my partner went to collect our dog from the stable and i went indoors to let our other dog out for the loo........then i heard an almighty shout that "he " wasnt in th stable .
I hurried downstairs put some shoes on and got my other dog ready to go look for him, i firstly stood outside our door shouting him thinking he would come running ...noooo
My partner then went up to the road and started walking along the path and thats when i heard him shout me ..... i ran over and my poor little puppy had been left dead on the foot path at the side of the road :( he was still warm so we presume it had only just happened and someone must have stopped to put where he was.... but noone was about so they had just cruely walked away and left him there!!!!!!!

Of course as you can imajine we were and still are very upset and angry ..... but the worst thing is that we discovered on inspection what had obviously happened

the tie that he was on was gaurenteed not to break or twist had been cut !!!!!!! it was a clean cut and it was near to the clip that attached to his harness
we thought firstly that someone had tried to steal him as he was a pedigree....
you see he was a nervous dog and when ever we would go and let him out from the stable he would be very excited to se us often weeing at the sight of us and it took a good 5 mins to get him off the tie as he wouldnt stand still long enough ... so this is why we know the lead was cut because the poor little might would not have stood still long enough for someone to realease the clasp ........and when we do that the first thing he would do would be to run back to the house and jump up at the door till you get there to let him in ................ and his paw prints were all over the door :(

then he must have tried to run away from whomever it was trying to take him cause he was a nervous dog and would always run from strangers.

Then two days after we lost him we bought our local paper to disscover the advert for this persons missing dog !!! with a reward of £100 offered now 3e know why someone wanted to steal him ...... and since the advert has been in the paper it has gone up and now has a reward of £500!!!!!!!!!!

Our dog died as a result of someone advertising thier lost dog ...they even have put posters up in our local shop saying thier dog had been seen here !!!!!!!

I am soo upset and angry at this whole senario
1. I am angry that these people named an amount for reward in the paper (encouraging people to go loook for this dog!)
2. because someone has not the heart to come and knock on the door and ask us about our dog...to eliminate him
3. because some cruel individula left my baby there on his own to die ...maybe he could have been saved if they had taken him straight to the vets not even 3 mins from where he was killed!
4. I am also sad that it was never reported to the police as i thought it was law to do so after knocking down a dog!

i will end this message now b4 i go too

This was attatched to someones missing dog advert ! it dont make much sense now cause the culprit add has been taken away :(

just a warning to anyone who places an add about thier missing animal ...
please dont publish an amount for reward as it will stick out a mile to anyone who is looking for cash and they will go to great lengths in order to collect ...I.e. stealing someone elses dog in the hope its the one !!!!!!!!
in my case it has ended in the the death of a much loved pet on an already difficult day !!!!!!!!!

please be carfull as i would hate to think this sort of thing has to lay on anyones concience along with the pain of thier missing dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOW DARE you infer that someone unfortunate enough to have their dog go missing is to blame for the death of your dog, tragic though that may be.

The only person/people to blame for the death of your dog are the people who let him out so please don't try to shift the blame onto anyone else.

We are sorry about your dog. The 'cuprit' as you put it, offered a reward to recover their much loved dog. We understand your shock and anger but that does not give you the right to accuse them of causing your dogs death. I would remind you that the laws of libel apply to the internet.
