I have a litter that are 7 days old. One little girl has a small blemish which has appeared since yesterday. It is tiny, approx 1mm and looks like a light brown mole. It is on the underside of her left hind leg.
It is very slightly raised and I cannot feel anything underneath it.
I will be taking her to the vets tomorrow morning but will not sleep tonight with worry.
I know that dogs get moles but am in total panic as have never seen one in a puppy so young.
If you have ever experienced this or can offer any advice,hope or possibilities please do so.
If I am being a complete nut job and worrying for nothing please feel free to let me know.....

Unfortunately a friend in her last litter had a 10 week old  pup back as it had what was thought to be a small wound on his hind quarter, (they have very thick coasts so it would have gone unnoticed for weeks) that didn't respond to antibiotics and was found to be a Mast Cell tumour.

It was removed a few weeks later with good margins and was tested as a grade 1.

He's now 6 months old in his new home.

Do they remember how it first presented? This looks like a small mole or freckle... puppy in otherwise very good health, feeding well & gaining weight.

To be honest they only noticed a small scab when pup was being picked up.
