Long shot but not sure if it was on this site or not trying to trace a post: someones dog had been lost and was proving difficult to catch and they were eventually traced using a helicopter, the pilot was keen to help. There is a lost Elkhound in Scotland ( advertised on here ) and the farmer is threatening to shoot it. Trying to think of things that might help and I recalled this, I am only on a few FB groups and here so it has to be somewhere. Ring any bells with anyone? I have tried searching keywords but no joy.

Thanks Harley, this wasn't it but I remember following the search on the pc so it was either on Face Book or here. I thought it was on here. I do hope they find him before a farmer does :(

I read a story yesterday about an elderly lab being lost and spotted behind a barn by someone in some sort of aircraft, possibly a helicopter but I can't remember. I think I read it on facebook though.

It was a guy in a microlight that found the lab hiding behind a barn. He had seen the appeal on FB so offered to scan the area and noticed it hiding behind a barn :)
