So I recently decided to buy some food off of a web company called my mad dogs, and the best advice I can give is avoid! I ordered a adult and puppy bag of premium food which arrived promptly but found the puppy bag had been cut with a knife at the bottom with a 1/3 of is contents missing. I rung them and asked for a replacement as I was not prepared to use the feed as I don't know how long it's been open.
The response I got was... Poor, "we have looked I to your case and seen you have signed for the goods, so we will not issue a refund". I didn't sign for anything the delivery driver didn't even spend 10 seconds on my door step so my signature was fraudulently applied by the delivery company.

Update- well they have offered a refund, pretty much called me a liar and refuse to do further business with me, what a joke!!! Anyone want a bag of split for god knows how long a lot missing dog food??
I would offer it to the dogs home personally. Would not take chances with it!

Iv chucked it in the bin, and informed trading standards. The thing is if they had just taken responsibility I would have bought more food.
I had something similar once with a dishwasher I bought on line - it was delivered next door and duly signed for - turned out I had bought a door not a dishwasher! Returned at my cost unopened as I had emailed to ask why my dishwasher was flat! Unfortunately their packaging broke and they duly signed for the receipt of an empty cardboard box 3 weeks later when I chased my refund I was told they never got the door back. Can only assume it got lost somewhere with Royal Mail. Totally depressed and frustrated with the whole thing so wrote off the £200 to experience in the end!
At least you have some recourse with Trading Standards!
