my yorkie still wont indicate when wanting to go outside to do her business but does it by the back door instead. AT XMAS I NOTICED A NEIGHBOUR HAD A GREETINGS MAT OUTSIDE HER DOOR THAT SAID HO HO HO WHEN EVER ANYONE STEPPED ON IT. i WONDERED IF ANYONE KNEW IF I COULD OBTAIN ONE OF THESE MATS THAT DOESN'NT DISPLAY FATHER XMAS AS IT WOULD BE IDEAL FOR ME TO USE JUST BY MY BACK DOOR, SO WHENEVER MY YORKIE STEPPED ON IT WHEN WAITING AT THE BACK DOOR I WOULD KNOW.

Hi guest,
You do not say how old your dog is???? but, there is a doggie door bell on sale, though i dont know what its actually called, try Petplanet, it can be wall mounted, or set on the floor, adn the dog has to put a paw on it to set it off. Would that help you????
I currently have a pup who will go outside, if you catch him in time, but he also will run about outside for ages, then come in and toilet on the floor, so i know how frustrating it is!

If she does it on a mat by the back door.....try moving the mat outside.
Worked for me on one of my cavaliers, she then used to paw the door to get at the mat to pee.Make sure you really scrub the floor where the mat has been though otherwise she'll just go there instead
Hope this helps
