`My 7 month old Border wakes in the morning and brings up a yellowish frothy liquid looks like spit .The dog is normal in every way. The one thing he dose is eat grass when every we take him out. He eats normally drinks plenty has the odd runny poo vet reckons his food may be to rich but we dealing with it. thanks in advance

This is typically caused by hunger and is very common. A dog biscuit first thing can sort it out.

Acid Indigestion from empty stomach.  May be best to feed a breakfast, or give a biscuit last thing at night.

my oldie does this but refuses to eat breakfast, so I give him a dollop of home made natural yoghurt in the mornings. Occasionally he refuses the yoghurt but I can usually get him to eat it and it really seems to help. Unfortunately he has got to a point mentally that he will only do what he wants to do, that includes eating, but if all else fails I can normally tempt him with sloppy yoghurt, and then sometimes having eaten that he may go on to have something more substantial. hope this helps
