Has anyone used this service for alternative treatment on their dog and if so was it successful? It's a rehab treatment place.
Quite a distance from me so was wondering whether to do the journey but would like some reviews.

I haven't but I know people who have, and I know someone who either works there or works in a practice with very close ties to them (can't quite recall which, sorry).  She always recommends them and from what I've heard it is an absolutely first rate place.  The woman who works there/with them has said to me before that she will only recommend two places to anyone for rehab - the Smart clinic and the Arc, up in Huddersfield, which is where I go as Smart is too far for me.

Have had assessments and treatment plans for two dogs, also know of others locally who have used them.  They are approx. two hours to the Cardiff branch for us, and a bit closer for the Swansea clinic.  Our vets refer to SMART for a number of treatments and know that many dogs have made good recoveries through treatment there.

I have never had cause to go there (touch wood) but I know quite a few people who have had dogs treated there and they have only praise for them - not heard any negative comments at all.

This is all good to hear as I would rather go down this route and see how we go, it's just a trek to get to so if they offer a 1st class treatment with good results then I am prepared to go.

A good friend of mine uses this clinic for one of her agility dogs who had a problem. She travels there from East Kent so quite a journey but wouldn't go anywhere else :-) Quite a lot of agility people from all over the country use them and thoroughly recommend them. My friend's dog had to stay there for a week for his last lot of treatment and evaluation - never been left with anyone before - and he was fine and is back to training again on a slow and steady return programme.
