6 month old pup had advocate on Saturday now miserable and coughing any thoughts or advise please ? It isn't my dog and I think she is off to the vet anyway.
If it is kennel cough which human cough mixture is it than can be used I have forgotten . Thank you

When Daisy had it earlier this year, the vet told me to get kids Benalyn.

It's not what you have asked but on recommendation I've also used manuka honey to relieve the symptoms and discomfort-proper stuff from the health food store not the blended ones from a supermarket.  It really relieved the coughing and that exaggerated swallowing and the dogs all lined up to have a spoonful to lick three times a day...so much so I have to make sure the cupboard where it was kept is always shut now or they go looking for it!
