I have rescued a liver/white English Springer Spaniel. He was born on June 5th 1997. I believe his first owner was called "Sanderson" and that his kennel club name is "Meadows Pride".

If you bred this dog or you know who did, please email me: mike@mikehenson.com

Alternatively telephone 01494 438904.

Thank you

From the registered name it would seem that his breeder did not have an affix (kennel name). So it may be that he waws a one off litter, or maybe puppy farmed. Most serious breeders take out an affix with the kennel club, and all their dogs have this word at the start of their name, like a surname.

If you have his KC registration then his breeder will be listed. If you have his date of Birth and name the KC will be able to tell you the name of the breeder, parents names, but nothing else I wouldn't think!

You may be able to track down the name of the breeder and his last known location via the KC or the breed clubs. Being High Wycombe area you could also ask at Chiltern Gundog Club as well, as there are a lot of springer breeders who have working dogs. The Chiltern is a working gundogs only club. Since you have the date of birth and pedigree name the breeder's name can be located in the Breed Record Supplements published by the KC.
