Hi my 5month old pup seems to have lost a molar or 2 yesterday only it seems some of the tooth is still in mouth fixed as though its broken is this normal with teething?

Do you mean the tooth has broken off? No it's not normal teething but if it is the baby tooth the rest of it should fall out. One of mine broke a canine, the vet wanted to remove the stump in case it hampered the adult tooth coming in but I wasn't keen to put pup under a general anaesthetic, the stump fell out a week later :-)

If the tooth has broken, no it's not normal.   I'd get this checked by a vet who may need to 'help' it come out - assuming it is a puppy tooth and not an adult.

Could you be mistaking the emerging adult tooth for a stump though?
