Today is day 54 ..... when out on her walk last night she was very loose i had to wash her backend when she got home....she woke up at 2pm scrathing up my bedding so hubby came down with her ...shes very quiet thismorning but has had her breakfast with the wormer in (not thinking she not have them because shes eaten) iv had a girl eat and 3h later 1pup born .....she still very clean iv seen no mucus yet! But her tail is between her legs every so often ...i know shes got to hang on to them 2more days plus im still waiting for my sucker and new vet bed :( to be deliverd.....im sure im just worring for nothing and normaly once writing a post about how worried us owners are they hold on till the end so praying my girl does this.
- By white lilly [gb] Date 12.05.14 19:17 UTC
Shes been restless today ...she did a normal poo and then a very soft yellow one not worried now shes ok from tomorrow :)
- By JeanSW Date 12.05.14 22:15 UTC
Sounds like she is getting close.  She is only making you worry because you got her up the duff.  :-)

They have to punish us somehow.  :-)
- By gsdowner Date 13.05.14 08:32 UTC
Please do keep us posted as I'm very interested to read the outcome. Sending positive vibes your way.

Most definitely jean :)

Hubby had anougher restless night with her lastnight i slept well in bed ;) shes eating and sleeping thats it and is stretching right out when she sleeps with her head tilted back but shes still very clean no shows yet i think shes going to just going to have them without her worning us 1st im not leaving her on her own at all so only time will tell ...i rang my vets yeasterday for her last weight she was 6.6kg shes now 8.8kg and to be fare shes only just started eating well she only had half her normal about from 3to6 weeks and lost weight she was scanned to have 5 but il be shocked if she only has five the BOOK OF THE BITCH does say this breed whelp early ...
She can have them from tomorrow or even early hours of tonight plz :) will keep u updated x
- By white lilly [gb] Date 13.05.14 11:52 UTC
Thankyou gsdowner we also have the same breed as you :) xx
- By Goldmali Date 13.05.14 12:04 UTC
Fingers crossed for you. There have been times I've thought I'd end up with a very early litter but then she has held on long enough for it to be safe.
- By white lilly [gb] Date 13.05.14 12:43 UTC
Shes just eating her kibble iv never seen her eat so much i can see her spine appear as the day goes lol so pups are dropping shes going to keep me waiting afew days im sure :) now! Xx

- By white lilly [gb] Date 15.05.14 06:10 UTC
Still here day 57 alot more digging thru the night and for the time time shes refused her food which for me is a big thing shes been eating very well and its natures diet with ham (for the wormer) shes pulled some ham out her bowl and walked away .... does anyone eles find that refusing ther food when eating well to be a good enough sign?
- By JeanSW Date 15.05.14 06:34 UTC
I'm not sure that is a good enough sign.  I've had bitches mess me about so many times that I'm a bit of a cynic.  :-)
- By white lilly [gb] Date 15.05.14 07:23 UTC
Yep same i just think shes going to tease me from now ;) but il know when shes really that look in her eyes isnt ther yet :)
- By Sedona Date 15.05.14 07:25 UTC
Hi white lilly, we're also on day 57 and have had a great deal of digging overnight too, also she wanted to go out at 2am for a wee. Now she is very quiet but she has just eaten her breakfast so not sure that it's going to be today, as like you I usually find that they refuse food if they are ready. Mind you I have had girls that eat then vomit it all back soon after! Good luck x
- By white lilly [gb] Date 15.05.14 07:41 UTC
How lovely we can share the match sticks ;)shes still refusing her food she dont look pregnant anymore from looking at the top of her they have droped im sure iv mentioned this before afew years back i can hear a fizzing sould coming from her ...she keeps licking like shes going to be sick but we will see good luck with your litter now lets see whos going to pop 1st lol x
- By Sedona Date 15.05.14 08:01 UTC
Yes I will keep checking back for news! My girl looks like that too, her spine is visible as the puppies have dropped, it's so exciting and worrying at the same time!
- By white lilly [gb] Date 15.05.14 10:43 UTC
Shes been sick and had a very runny poo!
- By Serge [gb] Date 15.05.14 13:27 UTC
Good luck, mine was exactly as you described and had her first pup a couple of hours later, so I hope it means she is going to get down to business!
- By white lilly [gb] Date 15.05.14 15:29 UTC
Shes playing with me lol shes doing nothing yet and to top it off shes had some ham off our son bless her so i put soome in her bowl with wormer to she eat it so looks like maybe not yet xx
- By JeanSW Date 15.05.14 22:29 UTC
This is what I call the worrying time.  You daren't leave the house because she may well need you.  And, until they give you something to do, all you can do is think!
- By white lilly [ie] Date 16.05.14 06:09 UTC
This is the part i dont like....im finding things to do but find myself looking at her every move lol.
- By Sedona Date 16.05.14 08:44 UTC
My girl got on with things during the night and we have 3 puppies, 2 boys and a girl! There may be another one yet as she still feels a bit lumpy and not really settled.....I hope things get moving for you very soon, good luck xx
- By white lilly [gb] Date 16.05.14 09:58 UTC

- By smithy [gb] Date 19.05.14 06:20 UTC
> cant believe shes still hanging in ther shes a small breed and her 1st litter her has only gone from 62 63 65

could it be inertia. have you had the vet check her.  if I am reading it right and she  is day 65 I would be frantic and asking for a c section.
- By white lilly [ie] Date 19.05.14 09:03 UTC
Her mum was late whelping but yes im taking her for a check.
- By Zajak [gb] Date 19.05.14 15:56 UTC
Howd your girl get on at vets?
- By white lilly [gb] Date 19.05.14 16:06 UTC
Not been yet but shes fine shes hax her food and a walk to the gate to watch the world go by its just me being a stress head ...im sure in my heart of hearts shes fine i can see pups moving too ...such a stressful time ...Thankyou for asking.x
- By Zajak [gb] Date 19.05.14 20:59 UTC
Oh god I know the feeling, its the worst bit!  x
- By cookies96 [gb] Date 19.05.14 21:22 UTC
I was in this position a few months ago with one of my toy breeds it was her 2nd litter first one went smoothly and she delivered day 59 with no probs she had a litter of 6. Second litter we got to day 61 i no signs at all so was back and forth from the vets every other day getting her scanned and checked and pups were great by day 65 i wanted a section vet refused and said they had just had a really bad experience were a lady had took her dog in for a section apparently 5 days over when they delivered the pups were prem and they lost the whole litter so they like them to at least try by day 70 i was tearing my hair out with worry vets reassured me they were fine day 71 during night she went in labour by early morning of day 72 nothing so went to vets and got a section all pups were born live they had been way to bog to pass you cud tell they were way way overdue. I think i was very lucky if in that position again iwud go to day 63 then request a section as its not fair on bitch and pups grow to big to pass anyway i suppose its trial and error with each bitch thats just my personal experience. Hope everything goes well for u xxxxx
- By Zajak [gb] Date 19.05.14 21:34 UTC
If you progesterone test it will tell you whether pups are due/viable.  If in any doubt about when the bitch conceived then this is what I would do.
- By white lilly [gb] Date 20.05.14 08:55 UTC
Went to the vets we didnt do a xray she wouldnt stay still and i wasnt happy her being slightly serdated today is 62 or 60 shes refused her food shes been sick shes nesting and panting on and off im feeling very calm shes fine il update when pups arrive :)
