Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Docked tails...

Yesterday at the national I saw a 8 mth old docked Rotti bitch being shown ....have I missed something?

I know you can show a legally docked dog at shows where entry fees are exempt, but I thought the showing docked dogs ( after 07 ) only applied to gun dogs and terriers....

I assume this pup was imported , but as it's in the working group I did not think it could be show , has something changed ?

Was the pup imported from Ireland or the US?

I guessed it was imported from probably Ireland,  but my question is "how can it be shown"  ?

If it was an import, or overseas visitor, (and therefore legally docked) then it can be legally shown at any show not charging the public to get in, which the National does not. If you look at the schedule it says on the front that only undocked and legally docked dogs can be shown there.
