Can kennel cough be transmitted between dogs through a person carrying it on their clothes etc?

Some of the organisms that cause kennel cough can also be harboured in the human respiratory passage for a period of time.

Daisy had KC last year , due to her dog aggression she is never near other dogs, we can literally go months without her setting eyes on another dog, but she still managed to get it.
The closest contact she had was via me, as I'd visited my sister who's dog had KC.

Thanks for the replies everyone :) Decided not to have contact with the affected dog in the end.
