For those with experience do you think mixed breed ringcraft once a week , training once a week and specific breed ringcraft once a month is an acceptable amount for a 16 week old pup ? Would you increase or decrease the lessons

My personal view is that a pup can never have enough training - but only if the training is looked forward to by the pup, and is almost like a game :)

If the classes you attend are relaxed and fun and the pup seems to look forwrd to going in, you are doing fine. Regards training, I have attended classes and then trained every day at home or out and about, just little sits and waits, loose lead work, that sort of thing. Maybe only 5 or 10 minutes at a time, maybe 5 times a day, or more, or just a few - it all depends on how busy I am :)
