Just wondered what everyone uses to clean whelping boxes.
- By kayc [gb] Date 31.03.14 18:58 UTC
Anistel.. use it in everything for all surfaces and also a small capfull in the wash with bedding

I use Trigene as used by my vet. Not just for whelping boxes but floors, surfaces etc.

Anistel is another name for Trigene

I thought you couldn't get Trigene any more only Anigene, that's what I've had to use. Comes in quite a nice lavender scent too.

i use K9 Herbal Solutions Parvo clean, its laboratory tested it has a wonderful orange blossom smell, it is super concentrated too so lasts ages! you can get it online via their website www.k9herbalsolutions.com

Thanks for your responses so far.
The reason why I ask is that I used Parvo Virucide with my last litter but I thought it was too strong. It made me cough so looking for other ideas.

Parvo clean won't make you cough but it is 100:1 solution so you really dont need alot, i put a cap full in a full mop bucket and that is enough!

you can't get Trigene anymore Alfie, it is simply re-named.. same product.. Apple scented, also comes in Lavender and another scent I can't remember.. I get mine from vets, it's what they use.

I think Anigene and Anistel are pretty much the same, just manufactured by different company...

Virkon is also good, but much more expensive

for washing outside, paving, walls, gravel, even grass I bought Sagewash sanitizer.. my new plaything :)  Disperses detergent/bleach/chlorine/etc in accurate doses, just attach to normal hose and have fun spraying everything :)  I love it!

Can you tell I am a clean freak lol..
