My friend travelled quite a distance to visit her chosen stud It was her girls day 13 and although short they tied.Now 3 days later she has just found her tied to her neutered boy( nobody told him he wasnt entire anymore!) She is now worried that because she is still standing then day 13 was perhaps too early.Do they stand for as long as they are fertile or do some stand longer? She didnt have her tested to determine fertile time and is wishing she had.

All my neutered boys will mate and tie and I have noticed the main difference between them and entire dogs is that they don't know the right timing. Hence I have found bitches tied with neutered dogs both before and after entire dogs were interested. I also find the bitches accept the neutered dogs sooner and later compared to entire dogs.

How long ago was her male neutered?  As sperm is still available for a while after surgery.
