After a recent spate of dog attacks in the US, the media - Fox News - ran an item in how to prevent dog attacks.
It'll be of no surprise to those on CD to hear that it's not breed that is a problem, it's training/raising the dog and more time should be put in to setting a dog up for success and rewarding wanted behaviour rather than just 'correcting' unwanted behaviour and/or averisive methods. The man also explains how dogs always give a warning before they attack/bite, unless they have been 'corrected' for displaying those warnings. ANd of course that ANY animal that has a mouth is actually capable of biting.

As CD is such a popular site, I thought it a good place to link to the video for those who may happen accross CD.

It's a huge same and a complete missed opportunity on the part of the UK media, that they just don't bother doing this sort of thing. The media here likes to shove in our faces how 'dangerous' dogs are whenever there is an attack and never bothers in using their postiion to help educate in how people can avoid these attacks from happening from not creating the problems in the first place.

Thanks for posting.  I've just watched the video.  Something that the BBC should show.
