Has anyone else given their dog a 'bullbar' they're made by the same people that make stagbars.

I bought one for Nando at crufts and he absolutely loves it but it STINKS now that it's been chewed a bit. Almost like sulphur, and I'm not sure whether to take it off him in case it is defective?

Yes they do smell - but nowhere near as much as cow hooves. I know which I prefer!

Yep, they stink! We let ours have them until we can't stand the smell anymore and then I put them in the freezer until feeling generous again.

Does the freezer help reduce the smell??

Certainly less than cow hooves, however Nando can't have them anyway as he eats them and then gets a terrible upset stomach.

I once bought a cow hoof that had me really heaving from the smell - when I examined it, it seemed the cow had had a foot abscess, and that's what my dogs were chewing, a dried pus-filled hoof.
Never again. The bull bars are much better, and are lasting a long time.

When they first start chewing them but as they start defrosting the smell is as bad!

EUGH!!! I am not squeamish but that makes me feel sick.
