we are on day 57... her temp dropped this morning to 36.8, it was 36.6 an hour ago... shes been panting a little and shivering, shes now put her self upstairs into her whelping box and been digging around and rearranging it. shes lying there quietly now.... does it sound like its going to be tonight? its her first litter and shes a toy breed. i have informed my vet who says it may or may not be the start... but they are awear it could be and are there if i need them

All you can do now is wait - at least you have a pretty good idea that it is imminent.  Hope she whelps easily, good luck!
