Looking for suggestions. This litter had been the cleanest I have ever had, they are 12 days old not. For the last 3 or 4 they have become very sticky and hard to the touch if you get my drift, despite my girl washing them all the time. I have tried special pet wipes which have proved useless and obviously aware of not using harmful chemicals but don't recall this problem before and I have done everything from hand rearing a whole litter to just supervising a few with Mum.

I know what you mean, As my long coated breed grow they get all sorts of rubbish in the fluffy coats..puppy fluff is like Velcro !! I have a bowl of warm water and a flannel and just wipe them down rinsing after each wipe. The give them a wipe of with a dry towel. Works for me. !

Thanks for that suggestion. Funnily enough now they are up on their feet a bit more they are a lot less sticky. Must have forgotten that bit.
