My 10wk old Frenchie has had an upset stomach since I've brought him home. His been treated for colitis which has now cleared up with antibiotics! His stools are not firming though! I am feeding him three times a day with rice and scrambled egg!

It could be that you're feeding him too much a a time; at 10 weeks he should still be on four meals daily; also his diet isn't balanced (as you know) so it might help him to gradually introduce a little of a good quality complete puppy food (Proplan, perhaps) to help firm him up. What was his breeder feeding him?

What was the breeder feeding him?  Do you have a diet sheet of all the things he has been eating?

If he's able to tolerate mlk, a teaspoonful of natural yoghurt/bio yoghurt on his food would  help to get him sorted - I use greek yoghurt as it's less acidic.    I gave all my pups this as it helps to protect their tums from all the rubbish pups like to munch on :-)

Have you kept him on the same food as his breeder was giving?    Changing food suddenly when you get a pup, can cause a dicky tum, on top of coming to a new home with new people.

Rice and scrambled egg 3 times a day is not a good diet at all.

Scrambled egg for breakfast no problem, but then ideally he should have either a complete soaked/dry puppy food for one meal, rice and chicken, rice and meat, or rice and fish for another meal and then another complete soaked puppy food.

Your FB has a very small stomach at the moment so needs 4 x small meals with a good variation of ingredients, proteins, irons, minerals and vitamins.

If he came from a breeder who only gives scrambled egg and rice as a diet, no wonder he has an upset stomach.

Change his diet and hopefully you won't look back. :-)

I would get him on a probiotic.  Antibiotics can really upset the balance in the gut, and if he already had colitis then it may have been imbalanced anyway.  Pro-kolin is the best IMO but not cheap (although shouldn't be bad for such a little dog!), or the makers of Yumove make one (Bioactiv) which I rate, I use it in my daycare dog who often struggles with colitis.  It's the same bacterium in both.

maybe nothing to do with it, but when I got my rescue she had an upset tummy so I put her on chicken and rice - freshly cooked. She got progressively worse and it was finally found that she cannot tolerate rice!! Even a small amount of rice or kibble containing rice sets her off again. Might be worth thinking about,

Sorry, I assumed that the rice and scrambled egg was advised by the vet.

Certainly if that is what he's normally fed, it's not adequate at all.    Hopefully the OP will come back and give more infromation.

I agree with the others as the pup is so young it's not ideal to be on such a restrictive diet, put back onto a good quality food and introduce probiotic
