Hi guys,
feeling a bit deflated at the minute :( One of our dogs is due to go to Europe to another breeder to be shown and used at stud but sods law everything is going wrong at the minute. All my dogs developed Kennel cough over Christmas, the dog thats going has had a nasal discharge since then which was treated with two coures of anitibiotics. On Mon I took him back to our vet as he still has the discharge from one nostril and my vet now thinks he may have Rhinitis, a blockage or worse. To top it off he has also started limping on a hind leg and I'm thinking worse case scenario he's done his cruciate although he has done this in the past and it turned out to be a cracked pad. Sometimes I feel like drawing a line under this dog and have him netured as I feel like its non stop bad luck with him. Sorry for the rant :(

It never rains but it pours :(
I'm sorry you're having a tough time at the moment. Rant away, sometimes it can help a bit getting it all off your chest.
Good luck, I hope things all get sorted soon.
Thank you..the breeder in Europe is very understanding shes more hopeful than me but I doubt he would be right in a few weeks and I wouldn't send a dog that wasnt 100 %l :(

Feel much the same...Kennel Cough stopped me mating my Champion girl, attending the last two champ shows and I have a young dog on a CC and RCC....can't get up the oomph to think about entering and actually going to a show now!
Aww its crap isnt it...I'm the same I'm meant to be attending our breeds biggest show of the year the day he leaves with the new breeder and I feel like booking a holiday in the sun and jacking it all in! Need some good luck for a change!

It comes in waves.
Last year everyone was calling me "Lucky" :-)
It will get better.
Your right it does come in waves..Thanks appreciate that. Fingers crossed :)
Just an update, things are looking up! His limping stopped after a few days crate rest and he has been put on a stronger course of antibiotics for his nasal discharge and it seems to be working. If its not clear by Thurs hes having xrays but my vet thinks its just a bad upper respiritory infection. Will keep you posted :)
