By 7 weeks, you should be starting to see them moving around, unless she only has a few and is still carrying them tucked up under her ribcage. I had one bitch who at 5+ weeks, was starting to look a decent size. Towards the end of her pregnancy (which was uneventful, no nasty discharge to alarm) she was really not the size I'd have expected - and had just one puppy, albeit a bitch (Sods Law, singletons are usually male). Nothing untoward was found to indicate she'd reabsorbed, but I always suspected this might have happened.
Food consumption, all in one go, may be difficult if she does have a significant number - logic suggests they will be taking up the room leaving none for a big meal. Small meals and often.
I'd suggest you don't milk her at this point - this will encourage lactation and probably too much too soon. Newborn puppies don't need much in terms of quantity and too much milk could mean they can't draw it off which could lead to mastitis. Nature should provide (assuming she's in good condition from the mating) once the litter has arrived. I've had many C.Sections when the milk isn't always let down immediately - not so with mine. There was always milk available, when needed.
