I have just received pedigree papers from kennel club for my pup. All three of my shihtzus came from different areas but in the same county. The ggg grand parent was my two dec'd dogs dad and there are doggy relatives on the 2nd sihtzu I had. Is this usual.
One of my dogs died 4yrs ago aged10 and the -other in Nov last year, nearly 14.
In one way it is nice that part of my two dec'd dogs live on in my new puppy

Aw, that is nice. Must admit although my primary reasons for choice of stud dog were health tests, breed type and locality, a minor perk is that his breeding goes back to the breeder of my first dog, so will form a link! :-)
