Hi hoping for bit of advice on silent seasons, a bit of backround, 2 litter sisters bred by us one owned by me 1 not, the one i dont own has had silent seasons last 3 seasons (first was normal) she was mated on last and Idexx tested so know she ovulated, anyway when she was scanned with successful sheep scanned she had 2 pups left but could see a few being reabsorbed any way se reabsorbed the remaining 2 before the pregnancy was complete. Her sister I have has always had normal seasons then her last she started bleeding lightly but then bleeding stopped we idexx tested her to pinpoint ovulation she was mated then we had her scanned at the weekend and she is reabsorbing full litter, She is my best home bred bitch very healthy done well in the ring and really would like to get something from her to show & continue my line. Anyone had any  experince  of this? What they think causes it? Is there anything that can be done to help/correct it? & have any of you went on to successfully have a litter from their girl? & just to add their mum never had any issues in this way nor does their half sister i kept from mum previous mating and they have both taken and maintained pregnancies on the occasions we mated them.  Thanks in advance
