I clicked some of their links in "About Us":

******* believes in the natural evolution of all dog breeds. We believe it is essential to support Mother Nature's process of natural selection.

Our philosophy is natural breeding - free from man-made breed standards - inspired by Charles Darwin's well-known Theory Of Evolution.

We will continue to encourage variation to flourish. We are true believers a puppy should be born - not to conform & perform - but to live and be loved.

******* supports natural growth. We are proud ambassadors of all healthy dogs.

I didn't have the e-mail, but came across the site the other day. I was sorting through bookmarks and some dog site I landed on had the advert for this place on. Easy way to make money eh. After all, all you need is a printer!

It is a shame that at the same time this company is offering this, the KC have downgraded their certificate. It is not much to ask for the certificate we hand over to the buyer is a pretty one. Obviously the vast majority of us do our own as well with the pedigree but this is the official piece of paper they will be looking for.
It may send more non show people to another organisation.
I don't appear to have received the email by the way.

The only way their so-called natural breeding could take place is if all dogs were turfed out to fend for themselves and over many generations you ended up with a wild population. Dogs are a domesticated species, they are artificially selected.

Perhaps we have not understood and this is a registry for Dingos, African Wild Dogs and Coyotes.

Please can I ask you all not to name the company concerned when discussing this (or when copying content from emails/website). Thanks

As for where they got your email addresses, I get all sorts of dog breeding-related business emails which want me to use their services.   There is only one site where my email address is connected to dogs or dog breeding.   Champdogs.

These companies trawl sites like CD to gain business contacts and advertise their services.   I just delete them after sending them to spam, if they aren't already there ;)

I thought this when it was discussed on the other thread.

The Kennel Club have put up their prices for ABs yet they now give out ceertificate which look like they were produced by anyone with a printer.   HUGE mistake, when the mickey mouse registries are producing professional, official looking, impressive paperwork.

What is their thinking? that joe public will look at the shoddy slips of paper given out by the KC and think that they must better because the KC haven't even tried to make them look good?

I would have thought the KC of all organisations would have realised that presentation was important.

sorry Jane didn't think to edit the pasted text

It's not a new company, they've been going for a few years now.

I entirely agree, I know many of you enjoy making your own pedigrees but I really did like the KC's and always gave them, I think for my pups owners who go on to breed I will be joining the rest of you and making a proffesional looking one for them to use, these new ones sound awful.

Then again, if everyone kicks up a stink and complains pretty sure they will listen, if not on their own heads be it, I certainly would not pay out for what is being described.

The pedigree certificate is exactly the same as the ones I've always bought. It's the registration paper that has turned into a tiny insignificant  bit of scrap paper :)
