Hopefully that is the case with the breeder?...... I really would appreciate your thoughts on how much I am currently feeding Molly.
Thanks

Feeding! to be honest, I have never ever weighed any food. ( I don't feed Arden Grange anyway, so could not advise if your measures are adequate or not) . I like my pups a little plump... school blazer 2 sizes to big type of thing, so feed by eye... if they need more, I give more, if they are getting too rotund, I feed less.. I don't like to see thin pups at this age.. nice rounded bellies (not balls or balloons) just nicely rounded with a little curve of fat at the neck/withers...
overfeeding can also encourage loose poos'
Thanks Kayc..... I love your expression ..... school blazer 2 sizes to big type of thing!
I thought I would update those who offered help and advice... Molly ..... Who is now Megan (Megs) because she reminded us so much of our last lab and she was constantly called Megs .... so it stuck!
She is now just under 8kg, which some of you will consider still under-weight but actually she looks really healthy and full of beans. She is 12 weeks old this weekend and started coming to work with me on the golf course. Her early days of training has started since it is important that she is impeccably well behaved on the golf course or she will soon get banned. She is feisty and a little high spirited, which we like and we love her to bits! The breeder never did bother to return my email and I am naturally disappointed. Thankfully the support and advice you had given helped us through a first very difficult and worrying week of having her at home, but we are past that now and all is well.
Kind regards
Ken

It's nice to get updates.
I am disappointed that the breeder of your dog never had the decency to contact you, when you needed them...thank god we arent all like that.

Well the main thing is she IS gaining weight. :) Great shame about the breeder behaving like this though.

Onwards and upwards
