I would appreciate any help offered, we need to stop the postman entering our garden and need to put a post box on the gate outside our house, does anyone know where I can find either an american style mail box or a large wooden one?

I think most garden centres/DIY stores do that type of thing now as they are quite popular. You could try doing a google search too.

Argos also sell a metal one with lock and key that you can put up outside.
