Thinking of putting in a dog bath save me having to use my friends as I have everything else, has anyone here got one installed, if so, what make how good is it.
I'd like to know about this too. Utility room sink is too small to accommodate dogs and they are too muddy to take to upstairs bathrooms when they come in from the swamp that is our garden.
I use a hosepipe on a mixer tap set to warm through my kitchen window for a wash off after muddy walks.

Depends where you want to put the bath but I started off with a plastic plasters bath (from builders merchants) raised up on breeze blocks situated underneath the window of my utility room so I could run a hosepipe from the tap. It was over a drain so it worked quite well. One year I bathed 5 dogs when it was snowing for Crufts out there.

I want to put one in with a shower so I have warm water at the moment there is a sink which I could bath an aussie in so going to change. It will go in the utility room behind the garage.

We put one of these in this year
http://www.qps-pets.co.uk/ the company were extremely helpful, our plumber cut the drain hole and plumbed it in with an electric shower above it.
We also have the QPS bath which we fitted into a homemade unit and then plumbed taps and shower extension over it in the garage (Integral to house) and we moved the washing machine out there at same time. With room to have a grooming table and the blaster out there, it really saves getting so much hair in the kitchen. And mud in the bathroom
