I was having a look round the shopping channels the other day and paused briefly at one doing halogen cookers, OH saw what I was looking at. Daughter has used one quite often at a friends.
Anyway THEY have decided that 'WE' would get quite a lot of use from one and I am now waiting for delivery!!
Has anyone got one, how much do you use it, what are the pros and cons of them, are they as good as the adverts make out???
HELP!!!

I've had one for about 6 months and use it most days instead of putting the oven on.  Just wish I'd bought one with a hinged lid rather than a seperate one, but I love it for cooking whole meals to jacket potatoes.

I've not got one but a few people at work have and they all LOVE them.

I've had 3 of them. When they work they are brilliant but they are prone to breaking down and you cannot get the spares so if out of warranty they go in the bin! I will not buy another one till they make them more reliable.

I got one on offer from Jean Patrique about a year ago and use it all the time. Easy to clean but the heavy lid is a bit of a faff. Saves heating up a big oven or grill for things like sausages or roast potatoes and is quicker usually. My guilty favourite is a croissant with melted cheese.
