I have recently posted on rainbow bridge.....far too many times this year having lost 4 dogs in the last 5 months.
now my older girl of 9 has just been diagnosed with heart failure.....she has started meds but I know it only a matter of time before something happens and im faced with that dreaded decision all over again for the 5th time.....why is life so cruel sometimes :(

Oh Sweetheart....

The only thing you can do is do as your dog does... They live in the now (no idea or thought for the future... Just what's happening right now) ~ I know it's hard, but live in the now with her xxx

Mandy, don't know what to say life can be so so cruel & you've had more than your fair share in past months.
Sending cyber hugs.

I'm so sorry for you, it's bad enough losing one dog let alone any more. Don't let it get you down too much, drugs helped my last dog so much and gave us another three years. I hope all goes well.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this time you will be lucky. My Rufus was given a few months with his bad heart when 8 and the medication gave him an extra 7 years.

So so true, so hard for us but it makes things easier for them.

Sending hugs and wishes and hopes that you have some respite from this terrible year

My dog was on meds for heart problems for over a year. She was doing well.
She started to have fainting episodes which the vet thought were probably seizures at the end.
What I am saying is that although I lost my little one last week, it wasn't through her heart condition.
Enjoy every day you have. With meds they can still have a Happy life.
I'm convinced that if my little one hadn't had the seizures on top of the heart  condiction, she would have lived a few more years.

Oh no, that's unbelievably cruel with the last few months you have had. So sorry.... :-(
