Hi does anyone know of "good" ringcraft classes in the West Midlands area, I am looking for ringcraft classes that are multi-sourced so to speak ie different breeds included.
I have a stafford pup and would like to get a different perspective than just stafford ringcraft. Although if any one knows a good one they attend could you let me know.
I'm just don't really know where to look!
Pup now 11 weeks and counting last jab this week. So we'll be ready to face the outside world soon!
I think I would be interested in showing her.
Thanks

When we were looking for a ringcraft class - we found it by accident whilst on a trip to the vets. They kept a book that had adverts for everything you could think of in it - pet shops, dog walkers, kennels and a local ringcraft class! We rang the organiser, visited them without our pup and found they were a great bunch and we've been going ever since. It might be worth asking your vet if they keep anything like that?! :)
Best of luck
Sharon

I attend a ring craft class in Wolverhampton, St Martins Church, Dixon Street, Parkfields on a Wednesday night at 8.00pm. They have a wide range of breeds attending.

Is it best to attend a mixed breed or specific breed class ?

I would think it good to have mixed breed classes if you can, preferably with an instructor who knows the different methods of showing the different breeds. It's good experience for dogs to see different breeds/colours/shapes of dogs that they'll meet at general shows.
