Could anyone give me directions, or a link to a decent street map I could print off? I'm alright driving to Manchster from the North, but don't want to get hit by any nasty surprises in Manchester i.e one way systems etc

Hi Julie I'm going too, from Morpeth. I take the A1 south to the M62, then West to junction 17, it's the A56, make for the City Centre, there's loads of signs for the G Mex, big brown things with a stripey logo.The A56 becomes Great Dulcie Street, then Deansgate. Keep following those signs you'll be fine. Good Luck, I'll be there on Sunday.

What day are you going? sunday is fine but I dont envy anyone going any other day and go early to park last year I had to comeout of the underground carpark it was so claustrophobic also take sandwiches and flasks the catering is very expensive and not that good.
Nursey is right with her directions I presume she means east lancs road straight into manchester I always turn for granada studios but the signs are good for GMEX good luck im going sunday.

Try Multi Map . If I am going somewhere I don't know I print off the maps in various sizes so I can find an alternative route if necessary

You could also try A A Route planner if you know the general area
