I want to buy a heat pad for a friend who has a litter due but i want to find out which would be the safest and also best quality and where to buy one? Thanks

Scroll down to the flexiguard.  The safest I've ever found, not chewable like the plastic ones.  And I've had mine for years.  You can get a fleece cover, but I don't sew, so bought them.  I'm sure that most domesticated people would make their own.

Would highly recommend, and I've tried just about every type going.  :-)

Thanks so much,they sound perfect.Im ordering one today.Its not a toy breed but still small,is is still ok to get the large size?The whelping pen is fairly large?

Have to say am going to buy one even though I already have a  vivarium plastic sheet kind and the older version that has just the aluminium top and is thicker with that corrugated plastic underneath.

I would only use the smallest one for my breed as it then can be in the middle for pups benefit but the bitch can lie away from it.

Does your breed like heat, or is it coated preferring it cool.  Puppies need heat but often this is very uncomfortable for a coated breed bitch.
