has anyone ever shipped things to American?
my brother has moved over there but left about 10 plastic boxes full of things.
he said he was going to ship them out. but for the past 2 years they have been in my parents loft and my dad wants the space back.
does has anyone sent things like that to America or know how i can find out so we can tell him!
it is not light stuff. and i don't want to have to be sorting it out when i have to clear the house in alot of years to come when the have gone lol

If he has managed without them for the last two years does he actually need them? give him a time limit of say 6 months to sort out the shipping himself and then bin them.

I had some of my belongings sent back over here by DSL.  If I remember the name right.

Well if the majority is books, I bet it would be cheaper to buy a Kindle, buy all the books on Kindle, and don't do the shipping. It cost me £300 to ship my belongings over from Sweden in 1988, so a very long time ago and only a fraction of the distance.

The company Jean refers to is DHL -John is actually employed by them now.

its all personal belongings that he won't throw away.
i want to find out prices and company's and then give it to him and give him 6 months to sort it otherwise we will dump it. he won't do it himself!
he is 42 but expect everyone to run after him!
thanks will look at dhl

Send one out for his birthday and one for Christmas :) two birds killed with one stone, he gets his books back and you don't need to search for presents for the next zillion years!!
