We lost our beautiful boy on 11th of this month and obviously it will take time before we are feeling anything like normal. However we have been blessed with people who have also appreciated out boy and have had cards and flowers also a card to say that sometime towards the end of October, early November we will be receiving a root stock tea rose called 'Simply the best', this is from people who have a daughter of Luke's. However today we have received a certificate to say that there has been a star named after him. It is wonderful to know that other people loved Luke and appreciated what a wonderful boy he really was. If you are looking up at the sky tonight or any other night please remember that my smiling boy will be shining down on you all.

It's lovely when other people recognise how much your boy meant to you and he definitely wasn't 'just a dog'.

It's when you read touching things like this you realise that dog people are the best. I hope you take comfort from this, Luke was obviously special to many people :)

That is  so beautiful-especially appropriate given Luke's full name   :)

I agree with Celli.  I could feel a lump in my throat.  I remember you showing his photo and he looked the sort of boy that anyone could love.  This is so touching for those of us that followed Luke's journey with you.

Well there's one thing big boy, you will never be forgotten.  :-)
