Hi

Have just been looking for a hotel to stay at for Crufts. I have just contacted the Hilton Birmingham Metropole regarding there "exclusive Crufts Dog Show 2014 discounted rates" (as advertised in the schedule!). They tell me there is no special rate available.
Needless to say, i will be taking my business elsewhere, however if anyone else books there please check the rate that they are charging.

Any recommendations for nearby hotels please?

Thnik the only special rates you will find for Crufts week around the NEC are super high ones!  The hotels all put their prices up sky high.

I stay at Best Western NEC, lovely hotel and dog friendly.

Brittania royal court in coventry is a very doggie friendly hotel, and i beleive is used lots by crufts exhibitors.
