Can anyone suggest the best place to buy a cheap suit for a 13 year old boy for show handling? I have found various places but really don't want to pay a lot as chances are it will be outgrown in a year! Machine wash would be handy as well as I can imagine it getting slobbered on, receiving muddy pawprints, and getting stained by sausages in pockets LOL.

We bought a wedding suit for my son at a similar age from Matalan - he was a small mans size...  He also bought a suit from Asda recently for an interview.  Both were less than £50, Matalan was I think £40.

Otherwise look for schoolwear in boys sizes - you can get pretty cheap trousers and matching blazers

All the above were washable

Have you tried Primark? I dont know how tall Ben is, but the adult suits seem to do smaller sizes :)
