I am an Assured breeder. I have one girl who has been precribed Galstop for a phantom pregnancy, my first case of a phantom pregnancy, and I have another girl who is hopefully pregnant. If she is, she would only be about 3 weeks pregnant. Both girls lie together and play together. Is there any danger to my pregnant girl? Obviously I give her the Galastop well away from the other girl but they do lick each other and cuddle up together a lot.

I'd be very loathe to give anything for a phantom unless she is so bad that she is at serious risk of mastitis.

Phantom pregnancy is the normal condition for an unmated bitch post season.

Severe symptoms can be alleviated by removing comfort objects, (and comfy bedding) more exercise and a cut in food rations, to convince her body that lactation is not a good idea.

Her phantom had carried on for a long time, from one season into next, and she was produing milk and self stimulating. It didn't see that it would ever end, particularly with new puppies on the way. So that's why I'm treating it. Just slightly worried about my pregnant girl.
