Topic Dog Boards / Health / Age for eye testing

Can anyone tell me if it's OK to get eyes tested before a year old? There is a local testing session going on early October and it would be handy to get the 2 pups done (they will be coming up to 10 months) before embarking on hips/elbows. They are Goldies. Their Mum had her first test at 11 months, but just wondered if it's best advised to leave until 1 year +.

Shouldn't make any difference with eye tests. I have had a test done before 1 year old as there was a session due. It still counts unlike hips and elbows.

Many of the eye tests are done every year anyway but I don't think the age at the first check matters.
